We received a total of 78 logs and have checked all. Below are the winning stations. The logs were from small to large. This year we used W3KM Cabrillo Evaluator software for checking the logs.

I would like to know if …..the N3FJP log program will be suitable for the 2020 QSO party? My first event this past weekend, I do not have a grasp on what is needed for the turn in log. The WFD log did not have exact time…and did not have exact frequency. ( pse, this is new to me from 35 years ago ). So before I buy the LA QSO program, would like to know what is
Hi Mike!
Thanks for your question.
Yes, N3FJP does support the Louisiana QSO Party, and will generate the required Cabrillo log file.

Use N1MM, it’s better and it’s FREE. When the contest is over it will generate a Cabrillo log for submittal and you can export all the QSO data from N1MM into any other non-contesting logging program you like.

just a note that I learned a lot by participating this year. Its been 35 years since I last did a contest. My things have changed. I used N3FJp and it did a good job. I even generated the log and sent in. It wasn’t that expensive, and its something I can use agn. The wife and I had a good time, and look forward again to next year….
Mike, we are glad you joined in the fun! The LAQP is always fun for me. Reach out to a local contest club, and find a contest mentor; you will be very surprised at the possibilities with the integration of technology in ham stations.
